Vertex factory reset

A factory reset restores the factory settings on the Vertex. Do this directly from the front panel of the Vertex.

A factory reset will permanently remove the existing addressing, grouping and logic.

Instructions

  1. Press the Power button in the following sequence:

    press (5 seconds), release (1 second), press (5 seconds), release (1 second), press (5 seconds), release

2. The Status LED will start to flash red. Vertex will now reboot and restore the factory settings. This may take some time (up to several minutes).

If your Vertex was in a cluster before you made the factory reset it will still be visible in the UI of other devices, but will be marked as not connected.
