4. Clearing devices on the buses

If you are in the process of an initial setup make sure that you've completed the previous step: Vertex software updating.

By clearing the devices on the buses you will ensure that all the devices are properly read and addressed. It’s important you know it’s a hard reset of all devices.

Instructions

  1. Choose Setting section [1]

  2. Go to Vertex cluster [2] and log into the Vertex as an administrator.

  3. Click on the Actions [3] drop down list

  4. Choose the DALI bus you’d like to reset. [4]

 

Clearing devices may take about 30 seconds. After this operation, the Vertex controller finds the devices connected to the DALI port again and assigns new addresses to them. This may take several minutes.
