Sometimes it is necessary to set a password on our Vertex for security reasons. This article will guide you through the process of securing your Vertex with your own password.

Please note that if you forget your password, the only way to log in is to restore the Vertex to factory settings. For this reason, it is a good idea to make a backup after commissioning and before setting the password.

Instructions

  1. In the main menu enter the User page tab [1].

  1. If you are not logged in yet the system will ask you about login details. Enter the default password [2].

  1. The next step is entering an old password [3] and a new one [4]. When all set hit the Confirm button [5].

  1. Now vertex is protected by your own password. Remember not to forget what it was.
