System backup - creating

Backups are created for whole clusters of Vertex at once. Remember to make a new backup after every software update and reprograming the system. To choose witch Vertex is being backed up enter the proper Vertex host page through your browser.

  1. Go to Settings [1] section in E2D UI.

2. Login using your admin password if needed.

3. In the Backup section [2] , click the “Backup this vertex” button [3]. You should do this for each Vertex in your system.

4. Wait for backup creation - it may take several minutes. Waiting time depends on how big your system is. After backup creation, a file will be automatically downloaded by your browser, make sure not to change the file name.
