System architecture

The Ethernet2Dali application controller is called Vertex. Luminaires can be connected in extensive work groups. It allows you to combine emergency and general lighting luminaires on the same bus. Vertex has 3 DALI ports where you connect the DALI bus. You theoretically can connect up to 64 lumiaires & 64 devices on a single port, which means up to 192 lumiaires & 192 devices per Vertex.

In practical terms due to current limitations and bus traffic we recommend different design limits.
