Measurement of the DALI bus current

Vertex 3 provides information if the current on the DALI bus will be over 230 mA. This functionality will ensure that DALI current limits are met.

 Instructions

 

  1. Log in to the Vertex GUI.

  2. In the System Status section, you will see a warning monit when the current on any bus will be exceeded (see photo below)

  3. Make sure that the devices on the DALI bus don’t consume more than 230 mA.

This monit will appear only when you will excess the allowed 230 mA. Real-time measurement of the DALI current should be performed using electrical instrumentation.
