2. Setting up the tablet

LiteIP is a company that developed our Glamox Wireless Radio system.

Step by step instructions

  1. After receiving the email confirming that the LiteIP Account has been created, open the Tablet App - LiteIP Control. Make sure all the tablet settings are set corrrectly https://glamox.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/WR/pages/2940108829

  2. You’ll see a splash screen that will ask for some information. For the first box, select Login with Google.

If two physical tablets try to use the same Google Account, then only the first one to connect to the Server will be able to connect. If you cannot login from a tablet, the most likely cause is that the Google Account has been used on another tablet. If you continue to use a tablet in this way it will lead to synchronisation problems and loss of data. If you have two tablets and wish to use them both with the Tablet App then you must have two licenced Google Accounts, one for each tablet.

  1. Tablet ID will fill in automatically.

  2. For Active Site, IF you have access to an existing or newly created Site ID, you will need to click on the button ‘Select Site to Download'. Click on the site you wish to download from the displayed list and click ‘Yes’.

IF you do not have access to a Site ID, then you must connect a Glamox Dongle first (see step '6').

You can then click ‘New Site’ and create your first Site ID.

The white box on the right side indicates all the projects you currently have downloaded on the tablet. For a new user, this will display as Select Site to Download.

If you want to choose an existing Site from the white box click on the Site ID in the white box and click Download.

  1. The last step is to Connect a Dongle to the tablet. Select thte choose interface button. Make sure to Change Interface Connection from Select to Glamox Dongle, if you have a Dongle already, if not you can select None and continue with no Dongle Connection.   1. When all four dots are marked green you should be able to select the “Go” button on the right of the screen.

  2. You will be redirected to the Luminaires page of your project.
