Commissioning App Release Notes

This update introduces enhanced Access Point management, firmware updates from tablets, improved driver health verification, and streamlined firmware file synchronization. Additional features include offline project data validation, single-luminaire level adjustments, and tools for detecting uncommissioned devices.

Improvements

• Improved updating of Access Points allowing for update from tablet - for firmware versions from 80.018 Firmware version on Access PointPreview

• If zooming in, the drawing remains in the zoomed in state when navigating from the luminaires screen to the emergency and/or driver screen.

Fixes

• Projects on Project page are now alphabetic, ignoring case.

• Forcing Upload allows to disregard failed download.

• Allowed Online mode even when not the Master.

• Detect failed download and prompt to resolve before becoming Master and uploading.

• Removed ‘AutoSync’ from Wi-Fi page, and replaced with ‘Sync’ option - to allowing for 5 minute extension of pausing.

• Progress Bar simplification for Sync Library Files.

• Added detection of dangerous library files and don't allow update.

• Added VersionPatch to Access Point version reporting via MQTT.

• Tolerate special (Scandinavian) characters in names.

• Reconnecting BT and BLE now happens in the background when on any Activity, not just Luminaires.

• Crashing on firmware page now fixed, page automatically downloads TI firmware first, then Nordic firmware only when the device type has been selected.

Summary

A new feature lets users customize short press actions for individual buttons on Scene Controllers and Kinetic Switches, with added support for new device types and improved emergency luminaire identification. Firmware update notifications are now available in-app for WR-D devices updated via Access Point. Several bugs were fixed, including high-resolution drawing imports, group device updates, and CPW2-SEN over-the-air updates.

Summary

This release is a major update focused on improving ease of use. The biggest changes include a more intuitive firmware update process, more intuitive Dongle connection, and a simplified way to create backups.

Summary

In this update the scenes functionality has been changed for ease of use both for Scene Controllers and Kinetic Switches. From this software version you will not be able to update Generation 4 devices using the regular DONGLE and will now need the new BLE DONGLE.

Relevant firmware updates

For this App release we have prepared some firmware updates that will be necessary:

• CPW2-SEN - v6.9.24

• BLE DONGLE - v2.3.15

Fixes

• Double click of luminaire in find box no longer resets to default profile if there are other luminaires on this profile.

• Kinetic Switch no longer crashes if profile changed incorrectly.

• When adding doors or windows to a created drawing, you do not need to release the door/window icon to move it around the room corners.

Known bugs

• New tablets must initially have ‘Owner' ticked in Cloud Control to become the site master and be able to upload.

• You can select Master without needing to remove Master from another tablet. Hotfix to come shortly.

• Glamox Connect virtual device visable outside of drawings with a four diget serial ID.

• Scenes tab - currently not able to disabled ‘panel’ mode.

BETA

• Changing between 868MHz to 2.4GHz when Bluetooth icon is long pressed.

• Long pressing Wifi icon - 'Multi-User' online data syncing
