Device edit

Device edit provides you with a way of changing properties on a device easily through the use of spreadsheets.

Device edit

To edit your devices, go to Settings → Devices → Device edit

Select gateways

Open

Choose the gateways that has the devices you want to edit.

After selecting one or more gateways, the spreadsheet will automatically be populated with all the devices from each gateway.

To edit a device property, double click on the cell you want to edit and that cell would enter edit mode. To escape edit mode without doing changes hit the “Esc” key.

Wattage is automatically added from product, but is editable.

Trick: Copy value from cell to adjacent cells

Open

If you want to copy the value of a cell and paste it to adjacent cell(s), click and drag on the blue square in the bottom right corner of the cell you want to copy the value from, and drag it onto the cell(s) you want to paste the value to. Cells that are highlighted in blue while dragging while be affected and have the same value after releasing the mouse button.

Saving changes

When you’re happy with the changes you made, hit the save button in the bottom right corner to store any changes made to the devices.
