Introduction to our Local API

Glamox Connect facilitates seamless communication with your local system through a dedicated API. With our Local API, based on MQTT communication, you can configure the API, establish a connection to your system, and retrieve data from your lighting installation.
The Glamox Connect Local API operates purely on data transfer, meaning it does not provide user interface components for direct integration. However, you can extract data from Glamox Connect and incorporate it into your own interface as needed.
Glamox Connect will share information in the form of data about devices and their current state regarding:
if the device is ON or OFF
brightness level of lumainires
color temperature of luminaires
presence information from sensors
temperture information from sensors
light measurements from sensors
The system will inform you about faults:
device connection and maintenance faults
emergency luminaire testing faults
It is possible to send commands to devices and groups regarding their basic ON/OFF state, their brightness and colour value.
