Operating modes

Occupancy Cycle On level Presence < Task Level

The figure shows the occupancy cycle during automatic light behavior. On occupancy detection, lights switch on to On level Presence. Once, a vacancy is detected, Hold time starts. During Hold time, lights remain at On level Presence and then dim down to Standby level, with a configurable Standby fade time period. Lights remain at this dim level until Standby time expires; after which lights switch off.

Auto on/off with Daylight Dimming

The figure shows how daylight dimming takes place during Auto on/Auto off mode. Once occupancy is not detected anymore, the timers (Hold time and Prolong time) start. Once the timers expire, lights switch off.

Auto on/off with Manual Override and On level Presence < Task Level

The figure shows how daylight dimming takes place during Auto on/Auto off mode. In case of manual override with a switch, lights can be dimmed up to the Task Level. When no occupancy is detected anymore, timers (Hold Time and Standby time) are initiated. In case occupancy is re-detected during these timers, automated light behavior starts again; and timers expire.

Manual on/Auto off

Manual on/off

The figure shows how daylight dimming takes place during Manual on/off mode. Occupancy detection does not govern light behavior.
Only manual triggers through a switch control the light behavior.
