Sensor (MPW)

ZIGBEE PIR CLS SENSOR is a multisensor designed for the Glamox Wireless Zigbee system.

It joins the functionality of daylight and movement/detection sensors. It can detect even slight, few-centimeters movements at the desk so it is suitable for areas like offices and classrooms, but also for corridors and main halls. It is recommended to install this multisensor in rooms up to 3 m high.

The sensor-head must be used together with the mounting device:

Device features

  • Movement/occupancy detection (PIR) and daylight harvesting functionality

  • Simple, 2-wire power supply

  • Designed for indoor environments e.g. offices, classrooms, corridors

  • Can be configured and maintained within the Glamox Wireless ZigBee app

  • Control app for the end user via wUser

  • Build-in antenna for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and ZigBee communication

How to use it in the LMS design?

Limitations (stand from the firmware 2.0.20):

  • The maximum number of multisensors in a single group - 120.

  • The maximum number of switches in a single group - 15.

  • Maximum distances (in the line of sight) between Zigbee devices:

    • 12 m between multisensors

    • 10 m between ZigBee switch and the first multisensor

  • A single sensor can cooperate with up to 4 luminaire drivers (limited to 1 driver per sensor to support Tunable White and Energy Reporting features).

For the earlier firmware versions, limitations are given:

  • The maximum number of multisensors in a single group:

    • 40 for full autonomy - only multisensors in the group

    • 30 for a group with ZigBee switches

    • 20 for a group with enabled energy reporting functionality

  • The maximum number of switches in one group - 5.
