(Classic) Customization of group parameter

Actions that you can perform on a given group:

Open

• Identification - the luminaire will start to blink on site and this will allow its successful identification.

• Stop Identification - this stops the luminaire identification action.

• Remove luminaire - this manually removes the luminaire from the system, it will no longer be monitored by the Vertex controller.

• Swap luminaire - this makes it possible to swap luminaires if the equipment was changed on-site and the old luminaire has been detected with the No communication error in the GUI.

• Change properties - this makes it possible to configure and set individual parameters for luminaires or DALI-2 devices like fade rate, fade time, Power on level, Application controller mode, and others.

• Set brightness level - this sets a chosen brightness level for a given luminaire/group.

How to work on groups

1. Go to the Devices/Groups section and select the Settings tab.
   
   

   Open

   

2. Under the Settings tab, select:

• Groups, if you want to manage groups,

• All devices, if you want to manage individual devices,

• Vertex/Port, if you want to manage the whole Vertex controller or a single DALI port.

3. You will see the list of all groups. Select one or multiple checkboxes.

4. Select the action you want to perform on the action panel.
