The gateway is a device creating new possibilites for the Wireless Zigbee system. These are its main uses:

  • HCL, since it has a timer functionality

  • Scheduleres for setting events & astronomical clock

  • Web based monitoring solution Glamox Connect

How to use it in the LMS design?

  • The gateway requires PoE or 230 V power supply adapter, as well as an ethernet connection.

  • With the latest 2.0.20 Zigbee firmware version, up to 120 devices can be in the group with the gateway.
