Using this template, you will be able to control the color temperature using a standard pushbutton. The standard values in the template are set to this:

  • trigger a color temperature 2700 K (minimum)

  • trigger a color temperature 6500 K (maximum)

  • Jump to minimum value and increase or jump to maximum and decrease the color temperature by holding down the button.

Step-by-step instructions

If you want different values follow all the instructions in this article (including the optional one).

  1. Copy the flow above and paste it into an empty flow.

  2. Select your device at Serial Number field [1]. Select the DALI-2 Input Unit [2] (which is one physical button) in Dali2Device field and set the Mode to ESDIM mode [3].

2. Select the luminaire group in the vertex action node [4].

If you don’t want to change the CCT values click Done and Deploy!

3.(Optional)

These optional steps allow you to change the two CCT values being sent from the node.

The CCT button is a subflow elegantly hidden in one node. To configure the parameters within the CCT button node click the node to enter the configuration window and select the Edit subflow template [5].

Then you will see the following subflow structure.

To change the CCT values you will need to edit the function nodes called 2700K and 6500K [6]. Click the nodes to enter the editing window and change the desired CCT values.

The step variable affects how fast the colour will increase or decrease, open the increase/decrease colour step value and change the step value [7].

You can also change the start value for colour changing. You can set these values by clicking the start colour increase/decrease node and changing the desired value [8].

Go back to the main flow. Select the luminaire group in the vertex action node [9].

4. Do not forget to click Done and Deploy!
