System architecture

Wireless Radio is a Light Management System that communicates using Radio frequencies between the devices and through Bluetooth with the user tablet.

But these are not all the components that can create the system. Let’s take a look at what types of components we can use

System architecture

[1] Tablet & Dongle - The tablet is the installer's main tool for setting parameters and identifying luminaires. The dongle is a communication device that translates Bluetooth from the tablet to radio communication that goes on between the devices.

[2] Luminaire with WR sensor - we use three main sensors for inegration with lumiaires: CPW2-sen, CHW-sen and CHW16-sen.
[3, 4, 5] DALI luminaire, External sensor and Bridge - this group of components let’s you add luminaires and sensors to the system without integration, it is a great solution for adding descorative lumiaires to the Wireless Radio system.

[6, 7] Pushbuttons and Scene controller - a scene controller let’s you create scenes, when you pair it with pushbuttons it allows to create many different settings

[8] Access point - if you wish to monitor your installation, you will need an access point [8].

[9] Emergency - Wireless radio also integrates emergency lighting very well.

All devices only need 230 V power supply with exception of a battery powered scene controller.

Glamox Wireless Radio is based on the principle that all luminaires have the same rank in the network. There are no masters, or all are masters. From the system point of view all luminaire contain a luminaire controller and, if possible, a sensor.
