Classic Version of the software is no longer the newest version, if you have a new Vertex it will come with a software Version of 3.1.30 - MODERN, for release notes go to: VERTEX 3 Modern
3.1.29
Summary
In version 3.1.29 we've focused on making your experience better, faster, and safer.
This new release is all about making your life easier. It's smoother and quicker, and we've squashed a few bugs that were causing issues with backups, identifying devices, and communication within the system. ππ¨
We've also added some great new features: devices now show up faster, system logs are just a click away, and we've added a nifty new feature for better control. π‘ We've evened out light readings across different sensors for consistent results and brought in support for a new converter to work with more devices. ππ

Node-RED: Added support for multisensors with many motion instances.
This release is fixing minor issues that caused bad user experience. In addition, we implemented two important improvements - global statuses and backuping.
Highlights
Fixes
Fixed the problem with addressing multiple channels devices (e.g. Helvar relay).
Quicker scenes setting time.
Fixed the problem with displaying the "255" group number for ungrouped luminaires in the emergency report.
Fixed visual feedback for the identification status on devices after triggering identification on group.
Features
NodeRED: Actual input device status is now visible for all devices in the cluster. The motion sensor now share its state across all vertexes.
GUI: Backup create and restore options added to the GUI - only for single Vertex unit.
This release is focused on improving the button dimming function, fixing bugs in nodes and minor changes in the GUI. Additionally, the API for communicating with the future UI application was upgraded.
Highlights
Fixes
Improved the dimming function.
Improved the operation of the “Repeat event” filter in the occupancy sensor.
NodeRed: Fixed the Event filters bug in the DALI2 Devs Common node.
NodeRed: P, I, D parameters can be now set correctly in the Daylight Harvesting node.
GUI: Fixed the bug (false error notification) while starting the functional test.
Features
Netconfig: Vertex will not save a new network configuration which does not have its address on it.
Improvements
Upgraded the API for communicating with the future UI application.
You need to update all Vertexes in the cluster to this version. Otherwise they will not work properly.
Node-RED: Disabled the automatic node naming. After creating several of the same nodes and naming one, the other nodes were given the same name. Now unconfigured nodes remain unnamed.
Node-RED: Sending wrong statuses (repeating events) - fixed a bug from 3.1.14 - OFFICIAL
Node-RED: Fixed the bug with blocking nodes. Sometimes the node could not be opened for configuration - now it works.
Resolved a problem that causes Vertex to freeze while communicating between the front panel and the daliserver.
This version has a problem that causes communication on DALI ports to freeze - requires reboot to start working again. Solved in 3.1.17.
Summary
This release focuses on the Dali2 Devs Common node and fixes changing the device parameters.
Highlights
Fixes:
The problem with the updating Vertex software directly from the production version to the latest version has been solved.
The operating of the port status LED (PORT1, PORT2, PORT3) on the Vertex’s front panel has been fixed. Now they emit continuous light when short-circuit appears, exactly as it was said in the Troubleshooting section: The most common errors.
GUI: The problem with the “lamp failure” notification not appearing has been fixed. Now, the notification appears e.g. if the light source is broken.
GUI: The problem with the setting of the parameters “Power on level” and “System failure” for Multi Type and Colour Control type of devices has been fixed.
GUI: Advanced DALI-2 settings (Hysteresis and Dead timer) have been fixed.
Node-RED: The saving and reading of the transition time (T2) parameter of the Motion Sensor in the Dali2 Devs Common node have been fixed. Note that refreshing new parameters may take a while.
Node-RED: The triger of the transition parameter of the Motion Sensor in the Vertex Action node has been fixed.
Node-RED: The problem with parameters in DALI2 Devs Common not keeping values has been investigated and solved. Devices with a “no communication” status can’t be set. You can’t also copy a node with parameters of the device in this status (nothing will be copied). Now, the “NC” mark has been added to the device’s name so that you can avoid trying to set them up. See the warnings added to the articles about the Control panel and /wiki/spaces/ME/pages/2089353231.
Node-RED: The problem with switching from Normal to the ESDIM mode for the DALI input in Dali2 Devs Common node has been fixed.
This is a regular 3.1.14 OFFICIAL release with a hotfix for loading DALI-2 devices data in dali2 devs and dali2 devs common nodes in Node-RED. The problem might occur in installations with many sensors/inputs (>200), with a slow internet connection on site.
