Software changelog for the LMS E2D VERTEX APC G2

We recommend using the latest version of the software (the highest number of version).

Some versions are marked as HOTFIX - it means they contain an unplanned but important fix.

2.12.1 - OFFICIAL

Summary

The software version adds support for the New Remote Support Platform.

Limitations

If you have an ES_CCT node installed with a software version different than 2.8.6053, it is recommended to manually verify the ES_CCT node configuration after upgrading.

If a flash memory error (USB) is already visible in GUI then it is required to change it to a new one,
after that, you can proceed with the update to 2.12.

2.11.1 - OFFICIAL

Summary

Software version significantly improving system performance, focuses on stability and longevity of units.

Limitations

If you have an ES_CCT node installed with a software version different than 2.8.6053, it is recommended to manually verify the ES_CCT node configuration after upgrading.

If flash memory error (USB) is already visible in GUI then it is required to change it to new one,
after that you can proceed with the update to 2.11.

Highlights

News:

  • Replaced Firestarter with Netconfig (/netconfig).

  • Upgrading data storage for increased stability by automatically moving it from USB to internal memory.

  • Node-RED: Updated nodes (dali2devs, ES-CCT, Vertex action) to the latest version (same as Vertex 3).

  • Node-RED: Added new node CCT2 (with input to allow external integration).

Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where the front panel STATUS diode was blinking incorrectly.

  • Fixed problem with DCASE communication ERROR while deleting devices.

  • Fixed problem with configuring network parameters while no LAN was connected.

  • Secured the Vertex against problems in clustering (neighbour configuration.)

Summary

Main focus of this release are improvements of BMS integration via MODBUS protocol

Highlights

News:

  • Changed modbus refresh rate to 15 minutes

  • Added features for debuging actual state in VERTEX ACTION node

Fixes:

  • Optimisation of PINGING DALI, eDALI, DALI-2 DEVICES

  • Improved and secured DALI ADDRESS OVERLAPING solving

    • Situation in wchich DALI-2 sensor overlaps address of DALI luminaire

  • NO COMMUNICATION status will appear only when DEVICE is not responding to “PING” over DALI bus

    • Queries of other parameters wont cause this critical failure

  • Decreased ammount of QUERRIEs sent to DALI devices to limit DALI traffic

  • Added possibility to turn of AUTO ADDRESSING feature

  • Fixed problem with overloading memory by debug logs
