Array devices

You can improve the speed and accuracy of the commissioning process by adding simulated devices to the drawings before starting on-site work. This allows for luminaire positions to be allocated and adjusted.

  1. Select Luminaires > Locate.

  2. Drag your finger across the drawing from top left to bottom right.

  3. An orange box will appear along with 'Group Commands' on the left hand side.

4. Select Simulate Array > Enter Column Quantity (1-8) > Save > Enter Rows (1-3) > Save. The number of simulated luminaires will appear on the drawing.

5. If you need to move the group (or a smaller group), drag your finger across the group and use the arrow in the bottom right of the screen

6. Repeat the process to add more arrays of luminaires

Individual devices

Once you have simulated arrays for the majority of the devices it may be necessary to add one or two additional luminaires manually:

  1. Select Luminaires > Locate

  2. Tap in the white bar below Find, this will add an individual simulated device

  3. Tap and hold the device to drag it onto the drawing

  4. Straighten the devices by selecting Snap and Save if you are happy with the amendment

The orange luminaires are placeholders that will be replaced with real devices when commissioned. This also serves as a check to ensure that all real devices were captured on commissioning.
