Using the commissioning software on the tablet it is possible to set up a Site Map of your building. This allows for an accurate layout of drawings on multiple levels. An accurate site map is important for ACCESS POINT reporting.

Set up all of your drawings. You can either set up the Site Map before you do any on site commissioning work or at any time once all devices are located and commissioned.

Enter the Drawings tab [1] and click on Site Map [2].

  • This will show you all of the drawings for this site.

  • If all of the drawings are on the same level you can now move them to the correct positions.

  • Tap on the drawing you wish to move, it will be highlighted yellow. [3]

  • Now drag the drawings to the desired position.

Tap Add Level to add additional levels. Tap on the drawing you wish to move to another level > tap the level you want to move it to. [4]

You will be asked if you want to move drawing to Level you click on, confirm Yes or No.

The resize button allows you to resize the site map as a whole. [5]

You will be asked to put in a width of the whole building. It’s not important that this is accurate to the nearest metre but keeping it in line with individual drawings will make the overall Site Map more accurate.

The Dashboard uses site maps in two ways. In the drawings tab [6] it helps you navigate trough your drawings. Instead of seeing a long list of drawings you will be able to choose the appropriate floor first. On other tabs, like on heatmaps you will see whole floors at the same time.
