Enabling sensors

For single luminaries the LMS

section will be available in the object property section. Check this option to access the sensor settings.

Role The sensor Role can be either Master, Standalone or Wireless.   Type Sensor Different luminaries have different sensor Types available for selection. Available Types are also restricted by LMS System. The upper dropdown menu can be used to further restrict available sensor types.   Sensor position can be set to either left, right or middle (circular luminaries only).   Check the Polar checkbox to show the sensor coverage area.

Adding external or extended Sensors

External and extended sensors can be added from the LMS menu:

• An External sensor can only be used as a master sensor in a circuit.

• An Extension sensor works as a slave and can be used to extend the coverage area for an existing circuit.

The sensor coverage area shows an exact visualization of the maximum sensor range for any given angle:

Energy evaluation (LENI)

When saving a room where one or more sensors have been placed, the energy evaluation data for this room will be automatically created or updated.

This means that next time the Energy evaluation window is opened, all luminaries and sensors for that room will be listed with a correct master/slave count.
