Now devices need to be linked into groups.
Presence
Select Luminaires and Link.
Individual Link
To put an individual link between luminaires, determine the two fittings to be linked and drag your finger between the two devices.
This will put a link in the direction you drew the line
If you require a bi-directional link, draw a line back the other way
If you draw an individual link line, the luminaire will not Link to Self and it's PIR will not become active. Select Link to Self on the individual luminaire to enable this.
Multiple Links
Select the group of luminaires you'd like to link by dragging your finger over them
You will be presented with 6 options:
Link All(xx) - this will link all luminaires together so that presence detected on any sensor will bring the other linked fittings on
Unlink All - this will remove all presence links for the group of devices
Link From X - this will provide a link from another device. If you select this option you will be prompted to enter the full device number
Link To X - this will provide a link to another device. If you select this option you will be prompted to enter the full device number
Link to Self – Link luminaires to themselves so they will operate independently
Me&2 - this will allow for smaller groups of fittings to be linked within a large group and is typically used in open areas. The '2' can be changed to a larger number with a long press on the 'Me&2' button
To implement:
Highlight the whole group to be controlled in this way
Long press Me&2
A popup box will prompt you to enter the group size > save
Press the Me&xx button again (this will now display the number you entered)
A diagram will appear on the drawing
Confirm to apply or cancel to change
If you tap on a luminaire whilst in the Link tab you will see all current links to that device.
Ensure all the fittings and links are blue and Synced - using the Sync button in the top left
If you make changes to links or which links a device has then you must check that all changes have been synced.
