By default, all Wireless Zigbee devices start with open interfaces for BLE and Zigbee communication, making setup simple.

During commissioning, the app:

  • Creates a network ID key and exchanges BLE security credentials to add a Wireless Zigbee device to a group.

  • Encrypts both BLE and Zigbee communications using secret keys:

    • AES-128 for Zigbee

    • AES-256-DfH for BLE

This ensures secure communication within the project.
