This documentation applies to the E2D system using VERTEX 2 & 3 with CLASSIC UI and software versions up to 3.1.29. If you have VERTEX 3 with software version 3.1.30 or higher, go to Glamox Ethernet2DALI

1. Quick start - first steps

  1. Download the Vertex Firestarter app on your smartphone and install it:

    1. Google Play

    2. App Store

2. Take the WiFi card from the box. Insert the WiFi card into the USB port on the Vertex front panel.

3. Switch the power supply off and then on again.

4. Connect to the network.

SSID: VERTEX_XXXXXXXXYYYY where XXXXXXXXYYYY is the Vertex controller's MAC address

PASSWORD: XXXXXXXX - the first 8 characters of the MAC address

5. Run the Vertex Firestarter application on your smartphone and configure the network.
