This page is currently a work in progress and will be continuously updated as development advances.

The Projects module allows users to create projects, which automatically generate an opportunity in Salesforce. Users can request quotes, place orders, and view the prices and availability of searched items.

Create a Project

To create a project, click on the create project button in the upper right corner. You will be asked to name your project.

By clicking the create project button an opportunity and a quote are automatically created in Salesforce.

Items

The search field and High Runners list display only A, B, C, and M items.

The High Runners list is limited to finished goods (FG) and shows the top 30 best-selling items based on the number of times each item has been ordered, not the quantity purchased in a single transaction. This prioritizes how often an item appears in orders over the total units bought at once.

Example:

  • If Product A was ordered 30 times across different orders (regardless of quantity per order), it will be counted as a High Runner.

  • In contrast, if Product B was ordered only once, even if that one order included 31 units, it would not be counted as a High Runner.

See you High Runners by clicking the star icon marked in the red square

You can then add items to your project.

If you want to delete an item row, simply click the trash can icon. Clicking it will remove the latest added item form the list.

Price

myGlamox diplays prices for A, B, and C if the "Last Changed Date" is less than 12 months old and the user has not manually set the price.

For products without A, B, or C, it displays "Price on Request" to indicate that pricing details needs to be inquired about separately.

The price displayed in the portal reflects the amount set when the product was first added; if the price changes later, adding the same product again will show the updated price, leading to different prices for the same item.

Example:

The first line was added when the account discount rate was set to 30%.

The second line was added when the account discount rate was set to 10%.
