Add switches to a group or a zone for light control.
A switch can be added either to a group or to a zone. Once added to a zone, another switch will need to follow the same choice i.e. either a group or a zone.
Up to 5 switches can be added within a group. All switches attached within a group should belong to a single brand. Combining switches from different brands is not recommended.
With 2 button and 4 button switches, the max. group size can be 30 nodes.
Select Switches.
2. Select “+” to add a switch.
3. Select SWITCH.
4. Choose a type of switch.
5. Link the switch to a zone or to a group.
6. Follow the steps below.
7. Long press - Press and hold the chosen button* for 10 seconds
8. Short press - Press and hold the button* for 1 second
9. Long press - Press and hold the button* for 10 seconds
10. Now, perform a series of short presses of 1 second each with the button* until the Wireless ZigBee App feeds back a beep and a message that the switch has been detected. This should be done up to a maximum of 16 times and in one of the 16 presses, the channel will coincide with the luminaires and feedback will be received.
11. After getting the luminaire feedback, wait as indicated by the app and then make a short press with any of the other buttons
12. This message appears when the switch is detected
13. Test if the lights respond to the switch. If you confirm that everything is fine, the switch is successfully commissioned and added to the group.
