Make sure that you've completed the previous step Vertex software updating

Sometimes, there might be a situation that devices won’t be properly read and addressed by the Vertex controller. By clearing the devices on the bus(es) you prevent these problems.

Instructions

  1. Log in as an administrator to the Vertex GUI.

  2. Go to the Devices/Groups section and then select Settings.

  3. Select the Vertex/Port tab and choose ports on which you want to clear devices.

4. Select Clear devices action from the panel below. Then select Run and confirm your selection in the prompt window.

Clearing devices may take a while, usually about 30 seconds. After this operation, the Vertex controller will again find and address devices connected to the DALI port. This may take several minutes.
