Importing drawings

Info

All imported drawings need to be converted to 1220 pixels x 660 pixels, this includes a 60 pixel frame you need to add for ease of use.

  1. Select Drawings [1].

    1. Select the required drawing from the file

    1. Enter the drawing width and click Save [4].

    If your imported drawings has a diagnal outline and you want your drawing to include that enter the modifying mode and long click on a corner and red dots will appear on corners of the drawing. This will allow you to move corners. If you want to add an additional point to a line simply long click on a line where you want to brake it and an additional red dot will appear.

    Note: If you move an outline some objects like windows and doors might not work correctly.

    Creating drawings

    If no drawings exist, then manual drawings can be created:

    1. Select Drawings > New > Create

    ...

    2. Name the drawings.

    3. Enter an x need to be created. Remeber not to use the Area 1 drawing and create a new drawing or you will be forced to delete your drawing.

    1. Select Drawings [1].

    ...

    1. Select New [2] and then Create [3].

    ...

    1. Enter a Filename for the drawing.

    2. Enter an 'x' dimension for the width of the area being created.

    ...

    1. Once created click

    Modify to:

    • add a Door(s)

    • add a Window(s)

    • add simulated furniture

    • add a 600x600 or 1mx1m ceiling grid

    • block out areas to reflect the room’s shape
