Wireless ZigBee Button is a button switch which ZIGBEE GREENPOWER is a switch that is designed for use in the Glamox Wireless ZigBee system.

No wiring and lack of power connections give wide possibilities of for mounting. Installation is easy and the device does not require maintenance. The device also does not need an internal battery or any external power supply. Energy The energy source is an electro-dynamic energy generator inside the switch.

The comfort of the usage is very high due to the low mechanical force needed for pressing the buttons.
In addition to conventional ON/OFF control, you can use this button for dimming the light and triggering lighting scenes.

Commissioning procedure (HAS TO BE CONFIRMED!)

<graphic> or <gif>

For commissioning a switch into a group, the cover does not need to be removed.
Please follow the steps given below, once the app asks you to:
  1. Long press – Press and hold the button on the top right for 10 seconds

    1. If the MasterConnect App feeds back a beep and a message that the switch has been detected,
you must directly proceed to step 2.

    2. Otherwise, repeat step 1 for the other buttons until the MasterConnect App feeds back a beep
and a message. After that proceed to step 2.

How to use it in the LMS design

Limitations

  • See system limitations dictated by the sensor.

  • Add all luminaires in a group first and then add a switch. The switch binding mechanism is to each node within the Zigbee group at the time of commissioning. If new nodes are added after commissioning, switch binding does not take place.

  • A switch can be added either to a group or to a zone. Once added to a zone, another switch will need to follow the same choice i.e. either a group or a zone.

  • All switches attached within a group should belong to a single brand. Combining switches from different brands is not recommended.

  • In case switches are used for a group and at the same time for zones of that group, three things need to be taken into account:

    • The switch of the group should be added first.

    • Only 2-button switches should be used for the group.

    • In the zones, 4-button switches with scene settings can be used.

  • It is recommended to use not more than one 4-button switch per zone.

  • If two or more zones are used with a 4-button switch, the maximum number of lights is 20 per zone.

  • In case the switch is not detected during the commissioning procedure, please re-try.

  • The switch needs to be mounted so that “I” is at the TOP and “O” at the BOTTOM (check the picture).

  • It is only allowed to use switches / input units from one supplier in one group.

  • During the commissioning of ZGP switches (in test setups) the devices should not be too close to the lights (between 2m and 5m distance) to avoid commissioning failures.

How to commission it?

For commissioning a switch, follow the steps shown in the app.
