LAN network design

Arrange all Vertexes on the design according to the LAN network design rules.

Create a schematic LAN network diagram. This will help you plan the right number of LAN ports and to divide them between switches. Remember about additional devices, such as the cloud gateway and the connection to the BMS.

LAN network design rules:

1. The maximum distance between devices is 100 m.

2. To connect BMS, use Modbus TCP/IP.

3. The LAN switch requires an external power supply.

4. Up to 25 Vertexes can work in one group (cluster). If more Vertexes are required, create more clusters.

5. One E2D REMOTE ACCESS KIT can be connected to one cluster. If there are more clusters, more devices should be added.
