Thanks to grouping, readability of flows is increased. It is also easier to move parts of the flow aroung your workspace.

  1. Begin by opening a flow in Node Red. To group a part of the flow mark the nodes you want to group.

  2. From (1) options choose (2) groups and (3) group selections.

  3. Now that the nodes are grouped you can see a double outline. If you want to add changes to the graphics style of the group double click on the outline to open properties.

    1. You can add the name of the group.

    2. You can change the outline and fill colour

    3. The name label can be visible or not. Choose the colour and the position in which it will appear.

Once you finished the group of nodes will move together as one node in your workspace.

To get into a specific node first select the group then select the node in the group.

To ungroup select it, go to options, choose groups and ungroup selections.
