Deactivating PIR sensors
If your PIR needs deactivation, for reasons like false triggering here are a few of our solutions:
Priority 1 = Absence Detection. This PIR will not switch on lights that are linked from it, but it will keep them on once they are switched on by something else. This includes it's own light (if it is linked to self).
Do not link luminaire to self. The PIR will still switch on other lights that it is linked to, but it will have no influence on it's own light.
Disable PIR in Profile. Recomended to create a new Profile renamed "...No PIR". The PIR won’t enable any lights, regardless of links. The sensor will not appear as Sensing or Active. This is a work-around for badly false triggering sensors.
Enable AFT (Anti-False-Trigger) in PIR profile. Recomended to create a new Profile renamed "…AFT". The Light in which this is enabled will only switch on when 2 or more linked PIRs are activated (one of which might be its own PIR). This means that, if a light is off, movement under its own PIR will do nothing until you move away and trigger a second PIR. This is the normal work around for sensors that false trigger a few times per day.
