The device is equipped with a built-in buzzer for identification.

Short-circuiting the input(s) and COM gives a signal/command for testing purposes.

The getting started with Node-RED section is here: Programing logic (Node-Red)

If the LMS E2D 6xINPUT MODULE was correctly connected then the VERTEX controller will be able to detect it. In Node-RED the node you need for the DALI2 devices is DALI2 devs. You will find it on the left-hand side of the Node-RED UI.

  1. In the Node properties, in the Serial Number field, you can choose the correct INPUT MODULE unit.

  2. In the Dali2 Device box choose which input unit you will be using. For IN1 use input 1 etc.

  3. Then select the Normal or ESDIM (for dimming button) in the Mode field. In Event filters set which events should be sent from Input Unit.

Then configure the vertex action node according to what you want to achieve. You can choose between several types of actions like single button, toggle button, triple button or dimm button. Remember to connect the vertex action output to the vertex cluster node.

You can find example usage of the Input Module here: Alarm override
