In the presence of daylight, the output from a luminaire is regulated to achieve a target light level on the work space to save energy. Find the light level of the luminaire (%) which gives you the required illuminance and then perform a calibration.

You need an external luxmeter.

Instruction:

  1. Place the luxmeter in the center of the work area. Using the Test Mode, dim the luminaire until the required light intensity is obtained (eg. 300 lux). In this example, it's 34% brightness.

2. Proceed to Configuration
and select Edit configuration.

3. Set On level Presence to the value you measured (eg. 34%).

4. Place the smartphone in the center of the work area and then select the Calibrate Daylight Sensor.

5. Wait until the calibration is over, meanwhile lights will turn On and Off multiple times.

6. It’s done!

Calibration is best done when there is no sunlight or there are windows blinds closed.
