In this chapter, you will get information on how to commission the E2D system. We assume that you have your electrical installation all set up. This means, all Vertex controllers are connected to the power and all DALI devices are connected to proper DALI buses. These requirements were discussed in the For installers section.
Before you start
make sure that you have set a static IP on your PC/laptop. The PC and the Vertex controller have to be in the same network.
check if you have all the necessary contents of the Vertex kit - Vertex controller, Vertex Access Point - wireless USB Wi-Fi card, and Vertex datasheet
in case of remote commissioning, check if Cloud Gateway is powered on, internet connection is enabled and the external antenna is connected
check the connection of Cloud Gateway with Vertex controllers - they should be connected with the ethernet cable
Be sure that you know and your LAN infrastructure complies with requirements.
