Basically, to connect your installation to Glamox Connect you need an Access point as well as gateway(s) connected to your local installation.
The access point is the one point connected to Glamox Connect. The access point communicates to the gateway(s) on the local network.
What do you need?
RevPI
Internet Connection - you can use LMS E2D REMOTE ACCESS KIT as a GSM gateway,
Local application controllers
LMS E2D VERTEX ApC 3 for E2D
Ubisys gateway for Wireless Zigbee
24V power supply(s) - LMS E2D POWER SUPPLY 24V 30W -
Ethernet switch ports for all access points and gateways - LMS E2D IND SWITCH
Example with multiple DALI gateways connected to Glamox Connect
The Access point needs to be connected to 24V power as well as ethernet connection. There is no hard limit to number of gateways to 1 access point, but recommendations are as follows
DALI Complete: Max 8 gateways per access point
Wireless Zigbee: Max 10 gateways pr access point
Ethernet2DALI: TBC - One cluster is verified ok
The DALI complete gateway has two port for DALI connection, so you will need 1 gateway per two DALI lines in your installation. The DALI gateway is physically connected to the DALI lines, as well as connected to your local IP network. The DALI gateway needs 24V mains connection.
The Wireless Zigbee gateway requires PoE or 230V power supply adapter, as well an ethernet connection.
Detailed information on the Ethernet2DALI gateway can be found here: https://glamox.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/E2D
The gateways do not require any physical connection to the access point. The Access point communicates over TCP/IP to all connected gateways.
