Attention: Power down the controller and remove the wires conected to the DALI buses. Now you can restore power and begin backup restoring. Do not connect DALI buses into Vertex unit until backup uploading procedure is finished! |
Go to Settings [1] section in Vertex GUIE2D UI.

2. Login using your admin password if needed.
3. Make sure that the software version is the same as version of Vertex you are replacing, if it is not then upgrade it using software file (3.1.22 or later).
4. Scroll down to Backups section and upload the backup file.

5In the Backup section [2] choose and upload the backup file by pressing “Select backup file” [3] button and after choosing the proper file select “Send backup and restore data”. [4]

4. Wait for the backup uploading to upload - it may take several minutes. After the backup uploadinguploads, Vertex will be automatically restarted to when it has read the new configuration.

6. Use netconfig to set previous IP address - enter 10.0.6.50/netconfig in the web browser.

Reconnect the wires to the buses.
Use netconfig and choose the previous IP address.
Check if Vertex has restored DALI devices and groups properly.

Backup failed - the only way you will see that a backup has failed is by an exclamation mark icon. Try again and make sure that the file name has not been changed. |
