Power down the controller and remove the wires conected to the DALI buses. Now you can restore power and begin backup restoring. Do not connect DALI buses into Vertex unit until backup uploading procedure is finished! |
Go to Settings [1] section in E2D UI.
2. Login using your admin password if needed.
3. In the Backup section [2] choose and upload the backup file by pressing “Select backup file” [3] button and after choosing the proper file select “Send backup and restore data”. [4]

4. Wait for the backup to upload - it may take several minutes. After the backup uploads, Vertex will be automatically restarted when it has read the new configuration.
Reconnect the wires to the buses.
Use netconfig and choose the previous IP address.
Check if Vertex has restored DALI devices and groups properly.

Backup failed - the only way you will see that a backup has failed is by an exclamation mark icon. Try again and make sure that the file name has not been changed.  |
