Luminaire Data
9 Luminaires linked to themselves and the central luminaire as shown by the arrows.
1000W and 250W luminaires, which are on/off switching. PIRs have 0 PIR Time-out, 0 Fade Time and 0 Hold Time.
The “Time On” will be the greatest of the indicated luminaire or any luminaire linked to it.
Utilisation
The percentage Utilisation is the percentage of the time within the hour that the luminaire is on for.
A 1000w luminaire on for 60 minutes will show the same level of utilisation as any other wattage luminaire which is on for the same duration.
In this example the luminaires are on/off switching and not dimming. If the luminaires were dimming and one was at 50% light level for 30 minutes this would show as 25% utilisation.
Energy
The percentage Energy is the percentage of the maximum watt/hours that any given luminaire on the drawing has used within the hour.
If the highest wattage luminaire is a 1000W unit and is on for 60 minutes this will show as 100% Energy usage. A 250W luminaire on for 60 minutes will show 25% Energy Usage.
In this example the luminaires are on/off switching and not dimming. If the luminaires were dimming and a 250W luminaire was at 50% light level for 30 minutes this would show as 12.5% Energy Usage.
Occupancy
The percentage Occupancy is the percentage of the time within the hour that a luminaire with a presence detector is detecting movement for (Not how long it luminaire is held on for after detection).
Occupancy time does not include PIR Time-out, Fade Time or Hold Time.
Presence detected by any other luminaire does not effect the Occupancy time of any other luminaire. Because of this linking, a luminaire that does not detect movement can still be brought on by any other luminaire that is linked to it, therefore showing both Energy and Utilisation, but not Occupancy.
